How this site is funded, and what that does — and doesn't — mean for the information you read here.
Tower of London Tours is a free-to-use, independent website. We keep it free by working as an affiliate: when you book a tour or ticket through the links on this site, we may earn a commission from our booking partner, Viator, at no extra cost to you. You pay exactly the same price you would pay by going to the operator directly — the commission comes out of the operator's side, not yours.
We think it's important to be clear about what the commission does and doesn't influence. The prices, ratings and review counts shown on this site are the tour operators' own figures, relayed as we found them — we don't set them and we don't inflate them. The tours we feature are chosen because they suit a common way of visiting the Tower, not because one pays more than another.
Our reviews are paraphrased from real traveller feedback on the tour listings, and we include honest, less-than-perfect feedback where it's useful. We'd rather help you pick the right tour — or talk you into the cheaper standard ticket when that's the sensible choice — than push the most expensive option. A site that only ever says "book the priciest tour" is no use to anyone, and no use to us either.
When you book, you book directly with the tour operator through Viator, and their terms, cancellation policy and refunds apply to your purchase. Your booking confirmation will come from them, and any changes should be made with them. We are not party to your booking and cannot process payments, changes or refunds on your behalf.
Tower of London Tours is not operated by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Historic Royal Palaces or the Tower of London. We are an independent guide. For official information and the Tower's own ticketing, please refer to the official Historic Royal Palaces website. Questions? See our contact page.
